HOLISTIC COUNSELLING IN MELVILLE
A Safe Space to Come Home to Yourself

Reclaim your self-worth, boundaries, and inner peace through compassionate, mind-body counselling.

Life can carry unspoken weight. Wounds that don't have words yet. A sense that something isn't right, even when nothing is obviously "wrong."

Counselling offers a confidential, unhurried space to explore what is happening beneath the surface — emotionally, mentally, and within the body itself.

At Reflexions Holistic Wellness, Erica offers trauma-informed, holistic counselling in Melville for women navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, low self-worth, and the complex legacy of difficult family relationships. Sessions are available in-person in Melville and online across Australia.

This is not just talk therapy

My approach is active and collaborative. I'm not here to simply listen while you vent.

I draw on evidence-based therapies and body-based practices together, because insight alone is rarely enough. Real change is not just something you understand intellectually. It's something you feel and embody.

We work with thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. I will challenge you when that serves the work, and hold space for you when that is what is needed.

My path into counselling was shaped by two decades of hands-on bodywork. As a Remedial Massage Therapist and Pilates instructor, I developed a deep understanding of how the body holds our stories. My Masters in Counselling brought that together into a truly integrated approach.

My work is informed by a range of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — building psychological flexibility and values-based living

  • Narrative Therapy — separating identity from the stories that no longer serve

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) — developing a kinder, more grounded relationship with the self

  • Somatic awareness and breathwork — using the body as a resource for regulation and insight

  • Inner child work — healing early wounds and unmet developmental needs

  • Psychoeducation — understanding trauma, the nervous system, and emotional patterns

The Work That Matters Most to Me

Some topics find you. Over the years, certain threads kept appearing in my work and in my own curiosity. Narcissistic wounding. The body in pain. The quiet upheaval of midlife. I kept returning to them, learning more, sitting with more people who carried them. What follows is not a list of services. It is a map of where my heart is in this work.

Healing from narcissistic mother wounds

Growing up with a narcissistic mother leaves a particular kind of imprint, one that is often invisible to the outside world but deeply felt within. Conditional love. Conditional approval. A quiet sense of never quite being enough.

These patterns are not character flaws. They are adaptive responses to an environment that required them.

I hold a specialist focus in this area, supporting you to untangle the conditioning of your upbringing, reconnect with your authentic voice, and build the self-worth that was never fully given.

Chronic pain

When pain becomes a constant companion, it affects far more than the body. It shapes identity, depletes resilience, and can quietly unravel a sense of self. I work with the mind-body connection to support emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and a more compassionate relationship with your body's experience.

Menopause and midlife transitions

Menopause is not just a physical event. It often arrives with profound questions about identity, purpose, and belonging. I offer a space to make sense of the shifts you are moving through, with grounded support rather than quick fixes.

What to expect from sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes, held in a calm, welcoming space in Melville or online via telehealth.

I am available Monday to Thursday and some Saturdays, both in-person and online across Australia.

Each session begins with attention to what feels most alive or pressing. The work unfolds at a pace that feels safe and sustainable, and I bring both grounded presence and practical tools to every session.

Some clients come for focused, short-term support. Others use the space for deeper, longer-term work. Both are welcome.

Investment: $160 per session

About Erica

I am an integrative counsellor with a Master of Counselling, PACFA registration, and two decades of experience in bodywork, including Remedial Massage and Pilates.

That background is not incidental. It is central to how I work.

The body holds what the mind cannot always articulate. I bring an unusually embodied understanding to the counselling space, one that treats the body not as a symptom to be managed, but as a source of wisdom and a pathway into genuine, lasting change.

I work especially well with people who value depth, who are ready to be gently challenged, and who are looking for an approach that sees the whole person and not just the presenting problem.
